[/sup]History In The Making
[/font]As the years withered away, so did the human race, all that was left was the earth to peacefully piece itself back together. Houses and old castles crumbled away leaving barely traceable ruins. The animals gradually remained in their inhabitants, keeping the peace between one another. The horses clanned together, picking up bits and pieces of their past and putting it all away for good. One particular herd of horses was considerably stronger than the others, it had a thriving leader and exceedingly strong members.
Eventually this herd with the leader of the name Conipherus began to force others to follow its beliefs and traditions, the others could not deny it since this herd was so full of power. The Gods were pleased with this successful herd and granted them a choice to posess a magical power. Of course the answer was anonymous and they were all blessed, aswell as a single horn grown from their forehead which is now called the Unicorn.
They took great pride in this mythical power inwhich they gained, growing stronger and stronger as anyone knew it. Other surrounding, neighboring herds began to worry of this almost unlimited mortal power, some grew furious. A small group of draft horses banned together against this mythical, unicorn like pack and started to challenge some of them. Realizing that loosing was not in the question retreating was the only solution at that point. The unicorn's greed started to overwhelm them and they followed the drafts to a small clearing which now called "The Illusion Clearing".
Destroying the drafts was great ease to them and they left their bodies for scavangers in the clearing. The Gods grew angry at this, smiting some of the semi-mythical horses on the spot, they would not bow to the Gods for they now thought they were almost immortal and could defeat the God's themselves. Great rage happened that day, and the last standing Unicorn was the leader, Conipherus. His horn had turned red with greed, and his hooves set alit with fire, snorting and raging on. The Gods were not please and struck down on the leader, forcing him to bow before them. And with that force, he died in the bowing position.
Until this day the moonlight is said to shine down onto a platform rock and reveal the illusion of a bowing Unicorn with fiery red eyes. Nobody knows who Conipherus is bowing to, for he was not bowing to the Gods with his own will. Not even the Fates know.
