Plot:
Over the past twenty years, scientists have been trying to configure different ways to cure some of the worlds most deadliest diseases. One day, a middle-aged scientist by the name of Dr. Rory Graham, created a serum that he thought would be a surefire way of being able to cure most types of cancer. When he tried it upon a patient by the name of Jack Flener, the results were nothing of what he expected.
••••••••••
Instead of curing Jack's injected cancer, it instead turned him into a monster only thought to be probable in ancient mythology. Jack's body's muscles began to tighten up, his hands and feet turning into paws with razor-sharp nails, his body being consumed in fur, growing at least three times the size he was before, growing pointed ears, and his mouth outstretching longer out to about 6 inches away from his face. His nose becoming moist and darkened, and his eyes glowing a golden color. Dr. Graham created a serum that could turn an ordinary human...into a werewolf.
••••••••••
Dr. Graham was baffled. Jack had turned into a monster, but he seemed to be in complete control of his actions. He wasn't destroying anything like he was originally expecting. It was almost like it was a rather large wolf with the brain of a human. Astounded, he began making more serums, calling it "The X-Effect."
••••••••••
Eventually, word leaked out all over the world of the amazing accomplishment of Dr. Graham throughout the science route. But, they knew that things could get out of proportion if the rest of the world were to find out anything about The X-Effect, so they kept it in secrecy. They continued to make more of the serum provided by Dr. Graham. They began making modifications to the serum, allowing the patient to be able to control the transformations as they pleased and give them the ability to communicate with humans by speaking through their minds.
••••••••••
One day, word was leaked out about what it was that scientists had been doing all these years. Funds were soon cut off from them towards The X-Effect project, and no more of the serum was made. It wouldn't take long before the serum came out from the laboratories and out into the free world. People all around began buying and selling The X-Effect, and more and more werewolves began sprouting throughout the world. As it was nearly impossible to tell the difference between someone who's taken the serum and who hadn't, no one really knew who was "infected" and who wasn't. As of today, very few amounts of the serum are still around, but the people who have taken the serum still survive throughout the world.
••••••••••
Our story takes place mainly in the middle-eastern part of the United States -- Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio, North and South Carolina -- where the fun seems to never stop. Can you handle being in the story of The X-Effect? Let's hope so..
